Prizes

The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes.

The top winner will also win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar! 1st - 12th place winners will each be featured as an equine of the month. The 12 equines with the most votes will be professionally photographed by Shadow Dog Photography for the 2027 calendar. All session locations must be within 40 miles of 53190.

All winners will have the opportunity to purchase artwork and images following their session, if desired.

*The 12 equines with the most votes will win a professional on-location photo session by Shadow Dog Photography. Sessions will take place between August and September, 2026 and must be within 40 miles of 53190. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to a close enough location, you forfeit your winning and the next top voted entrant will take your equine's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.


Each week the entrant receiving the highest number of new votes will win a mini-contest prize from one of the participating businesses. Each equine may only win a weekly mini-contest once. In the event of a tie, a random computerized draw will be held between the highest vote getters of the week to determine that week's winner. In the event that there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized draw will be held for all eligible entrants. Certain individual business restrictions and limitations may apply and may vary by business. Shadow Dog Photography is not responsible for these restrictions and eligibility requirements as determined by each business.
