  • The contest theme is Long Island Sound It Makes Me Happy.  Photos must reflect the theme.
  • The entry fee is $10 per photo.  There is no limit on the number of photos an individual can enter  Photos deemed offensive will be removed from the contest.
  • The submission period begins on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021, at 8 a.m. ET, and ends Labor Day, September 6, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • A single photo may win in only one award category, plus the People’s Choice Award.
  • Decisions of the contest judges will be final.

Voting in the People's Choice contest runs Memorial Day, May 31, 2021 thru Labor Day, September 6, 2021. Get your friends and relatives to vote for your photo. Each $1 donation counts as a vote for that photo and donations are non-refundable. The photo with the highest number of points will be the People's Choice winner and all the money raised goes to support SoundWaters.

Winners will be announced by September 30.

• The top photo from each category will be published in Stamford Magazine.
• The Best in Show and People's Choice winner will also receive two tickets on the SoundWaters Whale Watch.
• The Adult and Youth winners will also receive two tickets on a public sail on the Schooner SoundWaters.
