We had just lost our 5th English Setter, Hunter, and had been looking at rescue dogs when I saw the video "I Love My Duck". I immediately asked my wife why we hadn't put in an application. I just knew this was the dog. Athos is a great dog and he and India, our Chocolate Lab, have become best friends. Athos is very affectionate and easy going (not to mention handsome). He is always a big ham, which is good thing since I have a camera in my hand most of the time. His favorite place is Beech Hill where he gets lots of good sniffs. He is a bit of a bed hog and a counter surfer (wicked tall). He gets along very well with adults and children. He hopes his friends will contribute to assist in raising money so this fantastic group of people at SWESR will be able to continue finding forever homes for many more English Setters Thanks to all who were involved in making our adoption a success.
