Sassy is a beautiful 7 year old English Setter that I had fostered recently. I just took her to her forever home 1 week ago this past weekend. She was an owner surrender with 2 of her siblings because they would no longer hunt. She was high hw pos and I fostered her through hw treatment and became very attached to this lovely lady. She had quite the sassy/sweet personality but underneath it all, all she really wanted was love and human companionship, something she never had before. All she had was a 10x20 kennel that she shared with her female sibling. She came to me matted with a dull coat, dirty and stained. But this pretty girl left with a beautiful, bright coat and a proud, confident, high head. She would spend hours standing under her favorite tree staring at the birds and squirrels. I miss looking out my kitchen window seeing her! Fostering is so rewarding.Way to go Sassy you beautiful girl! On to a new and better life thanks to rescues like SWESR!!
