Pet's Story or Bio
Luna came as a gift from the SPCA Monterey, after the death of our beloved 14 year old lab Milo. After swearing never to get a dog again, Luna appeared and stole our hearts from the moment we saw her! She had been dropped off by her owner and required a month of surgeries and recovery, as she had not been treated with love and care. She is a lovebug and is a huge energy! She is best described as ‘Madame President’ and she wags her tail when she hears this nickname! She loves long walks by the ocean and chasing birds and when they fly overhead she jumps up thinking she can reach them. Her latest claim to fame was snatching 4 big steaks off the counter and inhaling them before we could get to her, another time snatching a bag of uncooked rice and eating it (this required a trip to the vet). We are well known at the vet for mischief! Luna is a joy and brings belly laughs. She even Zoom bombs when she thinks we are working too long and people quite like her on camera when she jumps up to be seen and heard. Life is never a dull moment and Luna has arrived to tell the world she came to take charge! We are forever grateful to the SPCA of Monterey County for their love and care for all the animals!!
