Pet's Story or Bio
Bailey is a petite Standard poodle who came to live with our family at 8 weeks old. Her birth date is December 23, so we gave her the full name of Bailey Noelle, in honor of Christmas.
She has completed the majority of her obedience training with the SPCA. Although, given her high degree of distractability and overall love for humans, sometimes it seems she has had no training at all. We would love, someday, for Bailey to be a therapy dog as she is so gentle with children and seniors.
Bailey loves to play with balls, but mostly loves the game of keep away. She still, very much, has puppy like qualities which can be very fun. We take her everywhere with us so she is learning to shop properly, eat in a restaurant with good behavior, sleep in hotel rooms and meet lots of new people when they approach her. She is still quite timid around other dogs, but with more visits to supervised dog parks, she's getting a little better. Humans are still her species of choice.
She has been a wonderful addition to our family. We look forward to her maturing and growing.
