The SPCA for Monterey County is excited to launch the 2017 SPCA Calendar of Superstar Pets. The contest runs until August 31, 2016 and allows pet lovers the opportunity to upload digital photos of their beloved companions to appear in the 2017 SPCA wall calendar.

• $25 donation photo entry fee, each entry gets one free 2017 SPCA for Monterey County calendar. Entrants will receive their calendars in the mail by late November 2016. Just in time for the Holiday Season!
• All photos submitted will be considered for month winner photos, regardless of number of votes. All other photos will be placed throughout the calendar.

There are some amazing prizes for the top five participants with the most votes! 

1st Place:
The SPCA has teamed up with Cypress Photography to award the first place winner with a professional photo shoot for their beloved pet located in the Monterey Bay area.* Pet’s photo will be featured in the calendar as a winning month photo in the 2017 Calendar of Superstar Pets. Winner will also receive a beautiful canvas print of a selected photo from the photo shoot donated by Trucksis Enterprises.

2nd Place:
Two night stay in a deluxe room at the Cypress Inn in Carmel by-the-Sea, breakfast included! (Available Sunday-Thursday, reservations are required and subject to availability at time of booking. Black-out date may apply during holidays or special events.)

3rd Place:
$250 gift card for The Crossroads Carmel

4th Place:
$125 gift card for la Balena Cucina Toscana

5th Place:
Ocean view wine flights for up to four people and chef's selection on five artisan cheeses at A Taste of Monterey, Wine Market & Bistro.

*A new color portrait will be taken by Cypress Photography. The photograph will be taken in the Monterey Bay area prior to October 2016. It is this photograph that will become the calendar month page. If this requirement cannot be met, an alternative prize will be substituted. The SPCA for Monterey County will determine the month which features this pet. A $100 gift card to a national retailer will be offered to those who are not able to meet the specified guidelines for the photo shoot.
