Pet's Story or Bio
Dulce came to us as one of the survivors of a herd rescued in San Ardo in 2011. A sad group left to starve without food or water. It was the tip of the iceberg for the many horses that were abandoned over several years to come.
Some did not survive, or could not be saved. Dulce was one of the lucky young ones. She came to us a wild creature, untrusting of human presence,
difficult and angry -- a leap of faith and a challenging journey, but today she is the light of our lives!

We enter Dulce in memory of the San Ardo herd who did not survive.
