Pet's Story or Bio
Cejas, whose name is Spanish for "eyebrows," has written articles published with his by-line in several dog magazines (he sends his paychecks to SPCA Monterey County), and the Huffington Post. He is the only dog ever admitted into the prestigious National Society of Newspaper Columnists. He loves running on the beach where people fuss over him, call him cute, and take his picture. When they ask what kind of dog he is, he says he's a proud American Mutt. Cejas travels across the country with his human guardian, gathering material for his articles.
His life wasn't always like that.
Cejas was rescued from a homeless, hungry, cruel life in Tijuana. He had more problems than the Panettas have walnuts. Cejas ate rocks for dinner and dirt for dessert. Thanks to his rescue and recovery, he's now a healthy U.S. citizen, eats real food, loves people, and has learned how to play.
His favorite things are nose nuzzling, butt inspections, and seagull scattering. His favorite foods are cheese and cookies. His favorite books are "Cejas With the Wind," "Moby Cejas," "Of Mice and Cejas," "50 Shades of Cejas," and "Cannery Cejas." His favorite comedians are Bill Murray, Max the Terrier from "The Secret Life of Pets," and Groucho Marx, who said "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read."
