This ain't ya Mama's regular Mardi Gras mask.
Where traditional carnival masks hide the top of your face, your Mardi Gras design must concentrate on the lower part of your face like the healthcare mask we have been wearing to stay safe.
Masks may include the upper part of the face or entire head, like traditional Mardi Gras masks, but not necessary.
You have creative reign but remember these masks are meant to show off your imagination and not meant to be a substitute for a protective mask.
Pick a category to enter for a $5 entry donation per entry. Youth category entries must be 12 years old or younger.
Once your photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery. The photo will be opened to voting by the public for $1 per vote.
Votes are $1 each and tabulated online.
The first entry in each category automatically gets five extra Mardi Gras kick-off votes!
All votes are donations to the Spirit of Charity Foundation and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Upon request, a donor will receive a tax receipt for their donation.
You are responsible for uploading the photo to the contest website. By doing so, you are verifying that it is your own design and become the property of the Spirit of Charity Foundation.
Photos must be high resolution, full color, not heavily filtered, edited, or altered.
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or violate the mission of the organization will be removed.
In the event of a tie, a name will be chosen randomly from that group.
