All votes must be submitted by the deadlines listed below in order to be included in the final vote count.
All eligible photos will be provided by SpoofDawg, in partnership with SoCal First Responders and selected SoCal Animal Rescues.
- Prizes will be given to the top 3 photos of the First Responder/Rescue Dog teams.
- Everyone is allowed to vote!! Vote early, vote often and vote for your favorite First Responder/Rescue Dog teams.
- The voting period begins at 10am August 6, 2025, and ends at 8pm Sept. 4, 2025
- Winners will be announced on SpoofDawg’s social media channels on September 5. Winners will be contacted by the second week of September 2025.

- Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You must purchase a minimum of five votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5.

SpoofDawg to the Rescue
A 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing donated pet food and supplies to Animal Rescues, Police K9s, and Veteran support animals, year-round and during emergencies such as wildfires and other disasters.
Past and Present
We began as a small grassroots all-volunteer team in Southern California gathering small donations of pet food and supplies, distributing them to a few local animal rescue groups. Pet supply stores, distributors, and manufacturers took notice and began donating needed items.
Permanent donation bins established at local pet related businesses and our “Fill the Truck” program collect new and gently used items from the communities supporting our mission.
Today we are proud of our accomplishments!
SpoofDawg to the Rescue has made a remarkable impact on the lives of countless animals and humans as our dedication and support from our donors has resulted in donated pet supplies totaling more than $3.5 million, a testament to our tireless efforts.

Our fundraising mission is to encompass the teamwork of our Southern California Dog Rescue Organizations, First Responders, local businesses and communities that love animals and support Disaster Relief efforts.

Meet Dogma Pet Portraits
Sylvaine and David Capron came over from France and the UK respectively in 1999. Sylvaine with a Baccalaureate in International Business and David with a BA in Fashion Design.
They started their photography business in 2005 in their garage, followed by their first studio in 2008. Working with Just Food For Dogs, their focus began gravitating more towards Dogma Pet Portraits as it gave them the most fun!
Fueled by the legacy of their beloved rescue dog and mascot, Roxy, they have created a free program for the Dog Rescue community. To date, they have photographed more than 837 rescue dogs in hopes of helping them find their forever homes.
Presently, Sylvaine and David with their two beautiful daughters, Dogma Pet Portraits devotes their energy and passion into making memories for other families and their pets through their photography.
