SSRR is spotlighting rescued Rottweilers with a 2018 "Rott of the Month" wall calendar. The calendar will feature a different Rottie each month and on the front cover, for a total of 13 photos. Grand Prize winner will grace the cover and 2^nd & 3^rd place winners will have the opportunity to select the month they'd like to be "Rott of the Month". The remaining winners, 4^th thru 13^th place, will appear as the Rott of the Month at SSRR's discretion. Full prize descriptions can be found on our Prizes page, under the Contest Rules tab.


Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your rott. Your dog's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $10.

Our goal is to present rescued Rottweilers that have been given a second chance at life. We want the world to see how happy these pups are in their loving home environment. No people in the photos please! Entries should be sharp, clear images with a high resolution (300 dpi or above or 1024x768 pixels) in a .jpeg or .png format. We're asking for the name(s), adoption or rescue date(s) and a short statement, 60 characters or less including spaces, describing the picture or something special you'd like to share about your Rottie! Submissions are open to all companion Rottweilers, rescued preferred but we love them all. There is a $5 entry fee per photo and they can be submitted from July 30, 2017 at 12 am (CST) thru August 27, 2017 at 9:00 pm (CST). All proceeds will go toward the medical needs of our foster dogs, current and future! Calendars will be ready for sale no later than early November. When available, instructions on how to purchase will be posted on our Facebook page. You also have the option to reserve a calendar here!
