Rules

Donations made in support of an animal are valued at (1) vote for every $1.00 donated.
The thirteen (13) animals (12 months and one cover) with the most votes on November 15th, 2015 at 11:59:59 pm EST will win the chance to be featured in the 2016 Sterling Shelter Calendar.
By participating in this contest and submitting your pet's photo and information you acknowledge and give permission to Animal Shelter Inc. to use your pet's name's and photo entered in future various publications and materials, including the 2016 Sterling Shelter Calendar.
Animal Shelter Inc. reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal or persons in a photo and the registration fee will be not be refunded.

Your pet does not have to be adopted or affiliated with our shelter in any way shape or form. We welcome all pets to be celebrated whether adopted from our organization or not.
Submit your pet's photo with a minimum $5 tax deductible donation for each photo entry. You may enter as many photos as you like as long as the $5 submission fee in included.
When submitting your pet's photo please Include pets name's and age's.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Animal Shelter Inc. and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

Photos must be high quality, taken at maximum resolution, 300 DPI, minimum 4-megapixels and in a generally accepted file format. Please note: most phone photos will NOT meet these standards.
Photos submitted for the calendar must include at least ONE animal and should be present in no less than 2/3 of the frame. Landscape format is preferred.
Please ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background.
For Pets who are photographed outside: DOGS in photographs taken outdoors must be shown wearing a collar and ID tag.
CATS in photographs taken outdoors must be shown in a safe environment (preferably in an enclosure patio or with a harness on) wearing an ID tag.
If the photo contains a person's, you must be able to confirm and provide written authorization from that person's for Animal Shelter Inc. to use the photo. NOTE: WE PREFER PHOTOS TO ONLY FEATURE THE PET'S AND NOT INCLUDE ANY PERSON'S IN THE PHOTO.
