Welcome to Stray Cat Alliance's Ravishing Rescues Calendar Photo Contest!

Do you have a feline that is picture-purrfect? This is your chance to show your adorable kitty off!

Submit your favorite, best, cutest cat pic to Stray Cat Alliance's Ravishing Rescues Calendar Contest. Kitties receiving the highest number of votes win a spot in the 2026 Stray Cat Alliance Ravishing Rescues Calendar, including that coveted spot as the 2026 COVER CAT!

Photo submissions open at 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and end at 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 - plenty of time to send us your best shots!

Alright! Get your camera ready for the moment when your super meowdel strikes that purrfect pose!

Helpful hints:

Capturing a beautiful cat photo can take a bit of work, so here are a few tricks!

Make sure your cat is in natural daylight.
Cats looking at the camera, have a higher chance of receiving more votes, so hold a toy or wand right above the camera, to encourage your cat to look directly into the camera.
Please submit a digital photo only with a file size of 2 MB or higher.
Since we can't guarantee on which month each winning photo will appear, please avoid submitting photos with holiday themes.

The voting period begins at 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Each vote costs only $1 and 100% of the proceeds will be used to help homeless cats and kittens at Stray Cat Alliance like Itzli, who is able to receive the medical care she needs to thrive through the support of cat lovers like YOU!

There is a $10 entry fee for each photo, and you can enter as many photos or different cats as you like! This fundraiser is a great way to celebrate your beloved furry feline furriend while supporting the important work done by Stray Cat Alliance!

The 13 cats’ photos that receive the most votes at the conclusion of the contest will be the top 13 winners, or picks of the litter, and the photo with the most votes will be our calendar cover cat!!

This year's contest will have a vote bank! You will not have to use your credit card each time you vote. (see RULES page).

Remember to frequently check your standing throughout the contest in case you want to vote again. VOTING IS VERY COMPETITIVE & FAST PACED AS WE APPROACH THE CONCLUSION OF THE CONTEST (REMINDER: THE CONTEST ENDS at 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025!)

Prizes

First Prize

The cat photo receiving the highest number of votes by 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 becomes the Stray Cat Alliance 2025 Ravishing Rescues Calender Contest Winner and will be featured as the COVER CAT on the front of the 2026 Ravishing Rescues Calendar.
First Prize winner will also receive three (3) copies of the calendar at no cost to enjoy and share! Any additional calendars wanted will be available via a donation.

Second-Thirteenth Prize

The twelve (12) subsequent cat photos receiving top-votes by 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 will be MONTHLY CATS featured internally in the 2026 Ravishing Rescues Calendar (January to December 2026).
Please note we cannot honor requests for specific months; our MONTHLY CATS are featured based on the number of votes received (2nd place: January; 3rd place: February, etc.)
Each MONTHLY CAT winner receives two (2) copies of the calendar at no cost to enjoy and share! Any additional calendars wanted will be available via a donation.

All Other Submissions

All participating cats not featured as the COVER CAT or as a MONTHLY CAT will be included in collages on the back pages of the calendar.
No calendars will be available as prizes for these participants. Calendars will be available via a donation.

Rules

Photos can be SUBMITTED ANYTIME during the contest run (12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 until 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025). Photo submission will be accepted on our contest website URL (http://www.gogophotocontest.com/straycatalliance) ONLY; please do not email photos or send via social media.
There will be a 7 DAY period for PHOTO SUBMISSIONS ONLY. NO VOTING CAN BE DONE FROM SEPTEMBER 2ND, 12:00 AM until SEPTEMBER 9TH @ 12:00 AM PT.
VOTING begins at 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
SUBMIT your favorite furry cat photo for a $10 entry fee, and you can enter as many photos and/or different cats as you like.
VOTES are $1 and you must purchase a minimum of 5 votes at a time. Each $1 counts as a vote for each photo and are non-refundable. We have a vote bank! You will not have to use your credit card each time you vote, if you choose not to. Remember that you can use the votes in your bank to vote – any votes left in the bank will go to Stray Cat Alliance.
If your friends and family are interested in a calendar, anyone spending $50.00 or more to vote will receive ONE (1) Ravishing Rescues 2026 calendar!
PHOTOS of only cats are accepted. Photos must only contain cats (no people). Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo.
Entries must be submitted by the guardian of the pet, or with permission of the guardian. If the photo was taken by someone other than the guardian, permission must be granted from the person who owns the photo. Eartip cats and community cat photos are welcomed! It is the responsibility of the person submitting the photo to make sure that permissions are in place.

To ensure that we are able to use your photo for publication, please make sure that you submit a digital photo only with a file size of 2 MB or higher. Photos developed from film and scanned generally will not result in a high enough quality to print for the calendar.
File sizes are automatically reduced when submitted to the live voting site, so at the end of the contest, the winning entries must email the original photo submitted to Development@straycatalliance.org within 7 days of the contest's end for it to be able to be included in the calendar. If you are one of the top 13 winners, and the photo you submitted is of poor quality and cannot be sufficiently improved for publication, we will alert you and give you an opportunity to send in a replacement photo of the same cat(s).
