Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
Finn was born April 2019 & rescued by Stray Cat Alliance (Thank You!) At 4 months old he was diagnosed with FIP, a terminal illness that carried a 95% mortality rate. No one expected him to live much longer.

His mama (Amanda) would not accept that.

A year later Finn was declared "cured" & a "FIP Survivor." Amanda joined various groups & organizations to share what we did - because of Finn, 100's, maybe 1000's of cats around the world are still alive and enjoying cuddles with their families.

He is a local legend in the veterinarian community - all of them have heard of Finn, "The miracle cat who beat FIP."

He changed the narrative - doctors who were once tasked with delivering the heartbreaking news "there's nothing we can do," were now able to tell patients: "There is one cat who beat it, here's how."

Finn passed away unexpectedly on August 22nd. He was six years old.

We were told not to expect six weeks, we got six years - years that were filled with love, play time, naps, and countless laughs.

Finn's personality was unlike any other. He let you know when he wanted to be pet and when to leave him alone.

He was the cutest sleeper & gentlest of souls.

He was a great communicator. We once bought him a new cat tree. He hated it and refused to touch it. We quickly made amends and bought him the tree he wanted, one that he loved to sleep at the top of.

He was our little guy, our miracle baby. Finn made our house a home .

We are simultaneously heartbroken and filled with love & gratitude that we got to share life with Finn for six years.
