The 2016 Ravishing Rescues calendar celebrates Stray Cat Alliance’s documented success saving thousands of cats and kittens through Advocacy, spay/neuter programs (Trap / Neuter / Return and Shelter / Neuter / Return, Outreach and Adoptions. Founded in 2000 in Los Angeles, California, Stray Cat Alliance advocates for community cats without a voice who live on streets and are subject to mistreatment, homelessness, disease and misunderstanding.

Our Mission: Stray Cat Alliance educates and empowers the community to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy and valued. We are building a no kill nation, one stray at a time.

During the height of "Kitten Season,” Stray Cat Alliance must continue providing the highest level of health care for its foster cats, while answering calls from the public about community cats in need of medical attention and spay/neuter services—it’s a big job. As you know, there simply is not enough financial support to help all cats and kittens. However, Stray Cat Alliance does provide vital resources and education to everyone who contacts its Hotline about the best practices to save and support stray cats. Thanks to your support, Stray Cat Alliance can expand its services and help even more community cats this year!

Your participation in this wonderful calendar contest will not only help sustain the organization’s free programs during its most challenging time of the year, but it will help promote Stray Cat Alliance’s work throughout the year. When hanging on walls at home or work, our calendar exemplifies the beauty of adopted and free-roaming cats everywhere. Ear-tipped cats are welcome! It’s also a wonderful way to memorialize your beloved feline family member who has passed to the Rainbow Bridge.

The “top cat” receiving highest number of votes by Monday, August 3, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. PST/10:30 pm EST becomes the 2016 Ravishing Rescues Cover Cat featured on the front of the 2016 Calendar. Her/his photo and biography will be prominently placed on the inside front pages of the calendar. The Cover Cat will also receive exposure as the main advertisement for the calendar contest for the entire year, on the Ravishing Rescues calendar contest website, on StrayCatAlliance.org, via SCA social media and marketing materials. Lots of exposure for a Ravishing kitty. Each winner receives three (3) copies of the calendar to enjoy and share.

The 12 subsequent top-voted photos become Ravishing Rescues Calendar Cats from January to December 2016. Each cat or kitten will have their biography highlighted next to their photo. A special place for a special rescued cat! Each winner receives three (3) copies of the calendar to enjoy and share.

SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL ENTRIES: Every contestant's photo that complies with Rules of Submission (no humans in photo, clarity, etc.) will be represented in some form throughout the contest - every submission is a winner.
