Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
I adopted Lana when she was 6 from a breeder. She was breeding stock and virtually uncivilized. She had to leave there one way or another so I took her. I spent a lot of time socializing her over the last 14 years and she's become my best friend. She sleeps by my head every night and continually purrs. Over the last 3 years she has had 3 episodes of breast cancer for which she's had surgery at a cost 3500-4000 dollars but she has been worth it. Now she supposedly has pancreatic cancer. She's had the best possible care with a great vet and 2 university med centers. She's still purring,eating and seems in no pain they don't think there's much more they can do for her.
