2026 Stray Cat Blues Calendar Photo Contest

Welcome to Stray Cat Blues – 7^th Annual Fundraising Cat Calendar Photo Contest! Thank you all for your support!

Last year's Fundraising Cat Calendar Photo Contest was a smashing success thanks to our generous donors! This year, we have decided to do it again! We are starting a little late this year, but know we can still be successful with everyone's support!

We, at Stray Cat Blues, just LOVE hearing successful rescue and adoption stories, and, of course, seeing pictures! So, we figured the best way to share our mission, is to put together a calendar! Here is your chance to help us raise some funds, so we can help even more kitties find their FUR-ever homes!

Here's How It Works:

CONTEST ENTRY:

Your Kitten or Cat must be a Stray Cat Blues rescue to submit your entry. Please include one (1) favorite photo along with your adoption story by selecting Enter Contest. Remember to share, share, share this page, because this is where the fun begins!

VOTING:

Your friends, family and followers can view entries and vote early by selecting View Entries and Vote so that your kitten or cat can win one of 12 coveted spots in our 2026 Stray Cat Blues Calendar.
1 Vote=$1.00 and you can vote as often and as much as you like!

Prizes:

Grand prize (1):

Cat with most votes will be awarded with their photo on the coveted Calendar cover, as well as their birth month.

First prizes (11):

Photo featured on one month in the calendar.

Consolation prizes (all photos with 25+ votes):

Smaller photo featured in the calendar (location and size dependent on number of entries).

RESERVE A CALENDAR GRID SPACE:

You also have the opportunity to ensure your pet will be included in the calendar by reserving an empty grid space within a calendar month.
$20.00= 1 Grid Space. You can reserve as many grid spaces as you like. Grid Spaces are on a first come first serve basis and fill up quickly, so don't delay!!!!!

Pre-Order Calendar Cost is $25.00 + $5.00 shipping through 10/31/2025 at 11:59pm.
Starting 11/1/2025, the cost will be $30 + $5 shipping.

If you are looking for a great way to advertise your business, we are offering quarter and half page ads. Please reach out to jeni.mcguigan@straycatblues.org for more information.

Rules

Your cat and/or kitten must be a rescue from Stray Cat Blues to submit your entry!

Please make sure your photo is high enough quality to reproduce well. The better the resolution, the nicer the photograph will reproduce on the calendar.
The more you communicate your participation in the contest (i.e. at work, with friends, via Social media), the better chances you have to win one of the top spots, and the more our kitties benefit. Votes are $1 per vote.
No people in the photo – we prefer to protect the privacy of our humans.
Please make sure pictures can be used in any month. Be cautious of holiday decorations.
People can vote as often as they like, and votes will displayed on the contest web page as they come in. Remember - vote early, vote often, and encourage friends and families to vote.

For more than 25 years, Stray Cat Blues has been a lifeline for stray, abandoned, and feral cats primarily in Montgomery, Bucks, and surrounding suburban Philadelphia counties. What began as a small effort has grown into a dedicated network of volunteers working tirelessly to give cats a second chance at life.

Through our foster and adoption programs, we provide safe, loving homes for friendly cats and kittens who would otherwise face uncertain futures. At the same time, we are strong advocates for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), a humane approach to reducing feral cat populations and improving the lives of outdoor cats. By spaying and neutering, we not only prevent future litters but also create healthier, more stable colonies.

Every cat matters to us—whether it’s a frightened kitten rescued from the streets or a seasoned feral who deserves to live safely in its outdoor home. Our mission is simple but powerful: to protect, care for, and find lasting solutions for the cats who need us most.

The mission of Stray Cat Blues Inc. is to rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens located primarily in Montgomery, Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties, and find them safe and appropriate homes. We envision a community where our cat population is controlled through spaying or neutering, and all cats and kittens have safe places to live and thrive.
