Rules

Entry Eligibility: Dog owners must reside in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach counties.

Entry Standards (The "Power of One"): To ensure the highest aesthetic quality for the calendar, entries must feature only one (1) dog per photo. * Disqualification Alert: Uploading "double pictures" (collages), photos with multiple dogs, or photos featuring people will result in immediate disqualification from the calendar contest without a refund of the entry fee. Let's keep the spotlight exactly where it belongs—on your pup!

Voting Eligibility: Anyone, anywhere in the world, can vote for their favorite SoFlo dog.

Entry Fee: $5 per dog (One dog per entry).
One Entry Per Dog: Each dog may only be entered in the contest once. Duplicate entries of the same dog will be merged into a single entry, and entry fees for duplicate submissions are non-refundable.
Single Dog Per Photo (reminder): Photos featuring more than one dog will be immediately disqualified without a refund of the entry fee.

Voting: $1 per vote (minimum $5 donation). 100% of proceeds go directly to Tri-County Animal Rescue.

The Grand Champion: The #1 top vote-getter at the end of the contest wins the 2027 Cover Dog title and front cover placement.

The Top 12: The final top 12 dogs on the leaderboard win the Luxury Portrait Commission (Value: $1,500+):
- The Experience: A styled 1-hour on-location portrait session and a private Grand Image Premiere.
- The Art Credit: $500 Boutique Credit toward a handcrafted Italian Signature Portrait Suite, Masterpiece Wall Art, or Bespoke Heirloom Album (Collections start at $1,500).
- The Feature: One dedicated month in the 2027 Calendar.

Weekly Spotlights: Four (4) weekly winners (most new votes each week) receive a featured social media shoutout and a $200 Boutique Credit toward their future art collection.

Selection: The Photographer (Editor-in-Chief) retains final creative discretion on the image selected for the calendar to ensure professional design and high-end aesthetic standards.

The Grand Image Premiere: Winners will be invited to a private premiere to be the first to view their full, edited gallery. This is the exclusive opportunity to apply the $500 award credit toward your legacy art collection.

The Timeline: All winning sessions and premieres must be completed by July 31st. Failure to follow the rules or meet this deadline results in forfeiture of the spot to the runner-up.

The Calendar Launch Party: Every winner receives a VIP invitation to our September Calendar Launch Party to receive their physical calendar and celebrate their "celebrity dog" status.

Artistic Rights & Usage: By entering, you grant the photographer and Tri-County Animal Rescue the right to feature these portraits in the 2027 calendar, social media, and for studio marketing, product displays, and sales. We love celebrating your pet's legacy while promoting the rescue's mission!
