Halloween this year may be a little different so we decided to add some fun into the mix with the "Superior Chamber TREATS NOT TRICKS Pet Photo Contest". Our Contest starts on October 1st
and ends October 29th
. Votes are $1 each and unlimited. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Brighter Days Dog Rescue.
To Get Started
- Register your pet of any species.
- Encourage your friends and family to vote.
- Follow your pet's progress.
Entries will be accepted starting October 1st
2020 at 8 am and the final date for submitting photos is October 29st
at 10 p.m. Mountain Time. To avoid processing delays, please try not to wait until the final days of the contest to enter. Winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram on November 2nd
There will be 3 categories:
- Single Pet
- Multiple Pet
- Pets With Their People
The photo in each category with the most votes will be awarded the People's Choice Award. The prize will consist of a professional photo shoot by ELD Photography and a sponsor prize pack from Dixon Orthodontics. There is no limit to how many times you can vote for an entry. In the event of a tie, the photograph that was entered first will be considered a higher rank.
How to Enter
All images must be digital and photos may be color or black and white. Photographers may enter multiple images; there is no maximum to number of entries per participant. There is a $5 fee to post your pic in the contest, and you automatically receive 5 votes. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Brighter Days Dog Rescue.
Entrants submit contact and contest information, upload photo(s). Payment for votes is made on a secure web page using a major credit card. Registration confirms the Superior Chamber can contact you regarding this year's and future year's contests unless otherwise specified. Please be culturally sensitive. Any photo deemed inappropriate by Superior Chamber staff will be removed.Prepare Your Photos:
Camera-made digital images or digital scans of slides or prints must be uploaded as jpg or png files. Recommended file size is minimum 1MB (or minimum 900px tall or 1200px wide) for submissions.
The Superior Chamber of Commerce was established in 1998. The chamber's mission is to strengthen, support, and promote the economic vitality of our member businesses and the community of Superior, Colorado. We aim to be a "3C Chamber" – a catalyst for growth, a convener of leaders and influencers, and a champion for our community. We currently have approximately 250 members and hold several events and specialty business groups aimed at helping our members succeed.
