Pet's Story:
Chuckles has been my EVERYTHING since June 2019 when I adopted him. I knew nothing of his history except he was found as a stray on the Panhandle and then TBBR transported him to Tampa. He was Heartworm Positive and had marks on his body from possible abuse. His foster family was amazing and loved him dearly, and he enjoyed playing with their own 2 pups, Charlie and Popcorn. It's been an on-going learning process for both of us, sometimes very challenging, and then so rewarding! He soon realized he was safe in his forever home. I could feel the love and trust get stronger every day!

He never barks, but I know what he wants by the way he looks at me. Now he's deaf so I use hand signals to get his attention. His favorite time is mealtime, and he jumps counter-high waiting for it. This year he decided he doesn't want to wait until after 5 PM for his dinner. He wants to eat at 3! After a couple of potty breaks, he's ready for bedtime. He sleeps -- and snores -- all night long!

I was blessed when I found Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue in 2016 when I lost my beloved beagle Charlie. My 1st rescue was Gerald in March 2016; the 2nd was Lucky in February 2019. Chuckles is my 3rd rescue from them, and I hope to share my home with him for a long, long time. TBBR is an amazing organization with extraordinary people volunteering time and energy to help so many homeless pups find their forever homes.
