Luna

Tell us about your pet
Luna may just be the coolest three-legged, one brown eye/one blue eye, deaf dog you could ever meet. She was 5 months old when we fostered her after she had her front leg amputated (probably hit by a car in TX where she came from) and she settled right into our home as one of the family. Our other 2 dogs and 3 cats seemed to accept her from the beginning, with the cats snuggling up with her. The cats even walk across her body and Luna will pick up her head, look to see who it is, and then go back to sleep! After a month of healing and TLC we decided to adopt her, at that point we were all in love!

Luna is a smart girl who appears to like every person and animal she meets (including deer, turkeys and butterflies).

If we were looking for another dog it would probably be the physical opposite of Luna, but once she was in our home, and on our laps, it was all about love and appearance preferences did not matter. She is here to stay. We are pleased to have this happy little girl in our home.
