I wasn't even looking for a kitty, I just happen to go to the Petfinder website, there she was. The minute I saw her, my heart melted. I showed my fiancé and he was absolutely smitten by her as well. We immediately drove to TCRAS and entered the cat room, and wow, there were so many cats! As we stood there looking for her, a paw reached through a cage and tapped my fiancé on his shoulder from behind, as if to say.. here I am! He turned to look and it was her! She was so beautiful and friendly with gorgeous icy blue eyes, we immediately knew she belonged with us. Since then, she has brought such joy and love to our lives, she truly is an amazing kitty. Her hugs, snuggles and massages make my heart soar. It is because of her that I now love cats. Truth is, before Dixie Girl, I really didn't care for cats, and now... I can't imagine my life without them! Thank you to whoever found my Dixie Girl roaming around Cripple Creek that winter day, you not only saved a kitty, but a family, too.
