Your Pet's Rescue Story
Our son's Pyr/Golden Retriever mix , Beau, who we inherited when our son left for medical school passed in Dec of 2011 from cancer. We agreed no more dogs. BUT in Feb of 2012, I found TGPR and saw Linc. His bio said he was most likely deaf. I told my husband we had to adopt him as we would provide him with a loving home. So we drove all the way to Denton on a Friday night, adopted him, and drove all the way back the same night! He has been a great joy; very loyal, docile, and gentle with the stray kittens that tend to show up on our porch. Plus he helped us get through the grief of Beau passing. Supporting these gentle giants is my mission - a voice for those that do not have one. Forever grateful to TGPR - one of the best rescues!
