Your Pet's Rescue Story
Maverick was an owner surrender in Alpine TX. He had been tied in a backyard all his life seriously neglected. He was only 73 pounds. TGPR was called to help and his foster discovered he had extensive damage in his hips from being hit by a car at some time in his life. One of the xrays even showed a bullet fragment in his spine. TGPR paid for FHO surgery to allow him more range of motion. I was his medical foster and couldn't let him go. He is the most forgiving gentle dog I've known and is the reason I continue to volunteer for TGPR. He is pictured with his brother Gilley.
