Your Pet's Rescue Story
The story of Pearl. Jan. 2020, the first signs of the pandemic lockdown loomed. Scrolling the TGPR site, I was immediately drawn to a smallish 3yr old “pocket Pyr” who had been surrendered. How ? She was so perfect, and looked so forlorn. Thankfully the TGPR Team swiftly rescued this beautiful girl from a local shelter. I knew, without question she was coming home. There was an immediate bond in her foster mom’s kitchen- Pearl had the best foster mom and I still thank her for her role in rescue. The "pyr paw" was immediate and I knew our family would once again be complete after a year of mourning our last pup of 18 years. Pearl lights up a room and doesn't know a stranger.
She is the heart and soul of our family. She has guarded and grounded us for the last 6 years through the gravity of life's ups and downs, celebrations and joys of 6 seasons of love that only a rescue can bring into hearts and home.
