Official Contest Rules & Fundraiser Guidelines
Photo Submission Requirements
Each participant may submit one entry per Great Pyrenees or Pyr mix. To give every floof the best chance to shine, please submit:
- One color photo
- The original, highest-quality version of the photo
- A photo featuring only Great Pyrenees, Pyr mixes, or LGD working dogs with the animals they protect
- No people in the photo, that includes adults, teens, children, and infants
Most phone photos work great as long as you upload the original image file. Please avoid screenshots, social media downloads, cropped photos, or images saved from text messages, as they may not print clearly in the calendar. If you're not sure, just ask us!
Photo Rights & Permissions
By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own the photo or have written permission from the rightful owner to enter it in this contest.
You also grant TGPR a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your submitted photo for rescue-related purposes, including but not limited to the printed calendar, calendar sales and promotion, social media, email, website content, fundraising materials, sponsor recognition, and other TGPR rescue-related marketing or communications.
All submitted photos must be original, unpublished work. Professional photos are welcome only if accompanied by a signed release from the photographer.
TGPR reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules, does not meet photo quality requirements, or is determined by TGPR, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate or unsuitable for the calendar or contest.
How to Enter
The Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue 2027 Calendar Cover Contest Fundraiser (the "Fundraiser") will accept entries between 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at gogophotocontest.com/TexasGreatPyreneesRescue.
To enter, participants must:
- Fully complete the online submission form
- Upload one qualifying photo per entry
- Submit a $25.00 donation to Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue Inc. ("Sponsor") per entry
Participants may submit one entry for each Great Pyrenees or Pyr mix they wish to enter. All entries must be received no later than 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entry fees are non-refundable except where an entry is rejected solely due to a technical error on the part of Sponsor.
All entries must be the fully original creations of the entrants. By entering, participants warrant and represent that their entries do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity or privacy.
Participants may optionally order a 2027 TGPR Calendar at the time of entry for $32.00 per calendar, including free shipping. Calendar orders are separate from and in addition to the contest entry fee. All payments must be submitted by credit card on the contest site.
Photo Specifications
All entries must include one color digital photo in JPEG format with a minimum resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels. Each photo must feature one or more Great Pyrenees, Pyr mixes, or LGD working dogs with the animals they protect. No people of any age are permitted in the photo. Entries that do not include a qualifying photo or do not meet these specifications will be disqualified.
Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry or photo that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate for any reason. All photos must be the original, unpublished work of the entrant. Professionally taken photographs will only be accepted with a signed release from the photographer.
Online Voting
Eligible entries will be judged by public vote at gogophotocontest.com/TexasGreatPyreneesRescue. Voting will begin at 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and end at 12:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Visitors may vote as many times as they wish for one or more entries by making a donation in the name of their preferred candidate(s). Each dollar donated counts as one vote. Vote banks may be reloaded in increments of $15.00 or more.
Voting does not entitle the participant to a 2027 TGPR Calendar. Calendars may be ordered independently of the contest at gogophotocontest.com/TexasGreatPyreneesRescue.
At the close of the voting period, the entry with the highest total eligible votes (dollars donated) will be named the Cover Winner, pending verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The entries with the next highest totals will be named First Runner-Up, Second Place, Third Place, and Fourth Place, respectively, pending the same verification.
In the event of a tie, tied entries will be evaluated by Sponsor using the following criteria: composition (50%), photo quality (25%), and originality (25%). The decision of Sponsor is final and binding in all respects.
In addition to vote-based placements, two entries will be selected as Editor's Picks by the TGPR Board based solely on artistic composition, photographic excellence, and the entry's ability to convey the spirit and love of the breed.
A total of 15 winners will be selected: one (1) Cover Winner, twelve (12) Month Winners, and two (2) Editor's Picks. Month Winners will choose their featured calendar month in the order they placed.
Eligibility
This Fundraiser is open only to residents of the United States and Canada. Void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law.
Prizes
All winners will have their story featured on social media and tgpr.org.
Cover Winner
Front cover of the 2027 TGPR Calendar, five (5) 2027 TGPR Calendars, an exclusive TGPR tshirt, a personalized engraved YETI tumbler, an extra-large pet cooling mat, a TGPR leather badge, and a 12x18 artistic print of their photo.
All Other Winners (including Editor's Picks)
A full page feature in the2027 TGPR Calendar, two (2) 2027 TGPR Calendars, an exclusive TGPR tshirt, a TGPR leather badge, and an 8x10 print of their photo.
All other eligible entries that do not place will be included in the collage pages of the calendar.
Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified by text, telephone or email by August 10, 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. No compensation will be provided upon forfeiture. Limit one (1) prize per person or household.
Day Blocks
Day blocks are a fun way to personalize the 2027 TGPR Calendar with a photo of your choice. Unlike contest entries, day block photos may include people, any pets, or landscapes — anything you'd like to celebrate or commemorate.
Individual Day Block — $15.00
Feature a photo of your choice on your selected calendar date.
Business Day Block Sponsorship — $50.00
Feature your business logo on your selected calendar date.
Date selection is first come, first served. Some holidays are reserved and may be won through mini contests announced on TGPR social media channels throughout the month of July. Watch our pages for details!
Rainbow Bridge Memorial
Honor a beloved pet with a special memorial feature in the 2027 TGPR Calendar. Each Rainbow Bridge Memorial includes a photo and a short written tribute. Memorial features are limited to pets — no people, please.
Business Sponsorships

Calendar Orders
Calendars may be pre-ordered starting in June. The 2027 TGPR Calendar is exclusively designed, and produced in a limited quantity after the contest concludes. Orders will be shipped in the order they were placed on or about December 1, 2026.
General Conditions
All entrants, by submitting an entry, agree to grant Sponsor a perpetual, royalty-free license to use their submitted photo for any rescue-related purpose, including advertising, promotion, and fundraising, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By participating, all entrants agree to release Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, and related companies from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising from participation in the Fundraiser or acceptance and use of any prize, including claims based on publicity rights, intellectual property infringement, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Neither Sponsor nor its affiliates are responsible for any taxes or expenses winners may incur as a result of receiving a prize. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Additional Terms
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend this Fundraiser if viruses, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control affect the administration, security, or fairness of the Fundraiser. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Fundraiser.
Caution: Any attempt to deliberately damage the contest website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Fundraiser may violate criminal and civil law. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Use of Data
By participating in this Fundraiser, entrants agree to Sponsor's collection and use of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy.
