Your Pet's Rescue Story
Tippy’s rescue journey is one of determination, resilience, and hope. She came to Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue with severe bilateral luxating patellas, making it painful and difficult for her to walk. Since entering our care, she has undergone two orthopedic surgeries, numerous vet visits, rehabilitation, and aquatic physical therapy to rebuild her strength and mobility.

Her recovery has not been without challenges. Significant scar tissue limited her progress, requiring additional sedation and manipulation to improve her range of motion. Thanks to months of dedicated therapy, she is now bearing weight on her repaired legs and confidently completing laps in the therapy pool.

Throughout every obstacle, Tippy has remained sweet, trusting, and full of love. Her story is a powerful reminder that with expert vet care, a committed foster family, and compassionate supporters, even the toughest journeys can lead to brighter days.
