Your Pet's Rescue Story
Murphy was originally found wandering the streets of Houston alone. He was rescued by a caring family who reached out to TGPR. When we saw him on the list of adoptable pyrs, we knew immediately he was coming home to Tiny Farm!

Murphy seamlessly settled into our existing pack. His juvenile exuberance was sometimes exhausting (especially for our senior chihuahuas), but his naturally sweet and friendly disposition quickly made him everybody’s favorite.

It took about a day before Murphy appointed himself as the resident LGD, a role he takes VERY seriously. Squirrels, birds, skunks, frogs, and Amazon delivery drivers all know to keep their distance from Murphy’s equines unless his humans signal their approval.

4 years later, Murphy has grown into a gentle, loving fixture on our farm. Whether he’s patrolling the pastures, howling at ghosts, or hogging the covers at night, he is our rock.
