Pearl is proof that “perfectly imperfect” dogs are worth fighting for.

When TAP rescued her, she wasn't expected to live past 6 months. Pearl said YEAH RIGHT! She's nearly 4 years old now. Pearl doesn't have use of her legs and can't walk traditionally, but she’s too busy living life with joy, determination, and a whole lot of personality to care. She navigates the world in her own unique way (which looks a lot like "doing the worm"). Great party trick.

She’s equal parts sweet and sassy, with a heart as big as her spirit. Whether she’s soaking up love, making new friends, or just being her opinionated self... Pearl has a way of leaving a lasting impression.

She isn’t defined by what she can’t do- she’s celebrated for everything she can. She's my hero! And definitely my boss, too. It's Pearl's world, and it's an honor to love her.
