Prizes
- The top 13 entries will win a professional photo session with Peanut and Bean Photo and an 8x10 fine art print. Sessions will all take place at Balboa Park and will be scheduled in the afternoons from May 1st through May 19th. At that time, winners will also have the opportunity to purchase a holiday mini shoot at the special rate of $50. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during that time, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar. No exceptions.
- The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2027 calendar. The remaining 12 entries with the most votes will be featured as a pet of the month.
- Peanut and Bean Photo will choose the best images from each shoot and their corresponding months. All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products following their session if desired.
- Calendars will be available for purchase starting October 2026.
Reserve a Spot to Honor Your PetHonor your pet or celebrate a gotcha-day or birthday by reserving an empty grid space (before or after the numbered squares) for their photo. Choose a favorite photo, a month, and pay. Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis; don't delay!

- All dog breeds are welcomed and encouraged to enter! Your dog does not need to be a TAP alumni to participate.
- The submission period starts at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Monday, March 30, 2026 and ends at 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, April 27, 2026.
- Each entry is a $5 fee and is non-refundable. By submitting a photo entry, you acknowledge that your entry is your own original work.
- Votes are $1 each (every $1 donation counts as one vote and is non-refundable).
- There is a limit of one pet per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos.
- Photos should be full color, and not heavily filtered. Photos deemed offensive or obscene will be removed from the contest.
- The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes. Winners will be monitored by GoGo Photo Contest and are final.
The Animal Pad is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue that focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters and the streets of Mexico. We get them vet care, place them in foster homes and then find them loving forever families.
Our mission is to form a safe space for dogs experiencing crisis and neglect, and to build a community of compassion through education, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. Our community of volunteers and fosters strives to ensure that all dogs get a fighting chance, and believes that no case is too extreme to be helped, meaning our rescue is full of perfectly imperfect dogs who can’t wait to meet you.
