Rules

Contest Overview:

1. Dates to enter a photo in the contest:
   • Friday, October 1, 2021 at 8:00 A.M. until Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 8:00 P.M.
2. Dates to vote for photos in the contest:
   • Friday, October 1, 2021 at 8:00 A.M. until Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 8:00 P.M.
3. Contest closed automatically: Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 8:00 P.M.

Entries:

1. Contest has a $5 photo entry fee that does not count toward votes.
2. If you choose to donate $20 or more during the entry process, you will receive a bonus offer of 10 votes (only available while submitting your entry).
   • Example 1: If you donate $5 for the entry fee, your pet’s photo will be featured in the contest. However, you will not receive any votes.
   • Example 2: If you donate $20 or more, your entry will receive 10 bonus votes ($20 donation - $5 entry fee = $15/15 votes + 10 bonus votes = 25 votes)
3. Photo entries must be submitted electronically to the website; we are unable to accept mailed photos. You may enter as many photos as you wish with each entry having a $5 donation fee. 
4. Any animal is allowed; however, only animals are allowed in the photos (no people).
5. Multiple animals may be in a photo.
6. The Arc Lancaster Lebanon has the right to remove any photo that is offensive or shows harm to an animal.
7. Photos become the property of The Arc Lancaster Lebanon to be used in advertisements, calendars, or future events.
8. Photos should be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes), and acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .tif
9. Information we require from those that enter:
   1. First and Last Name of Individual Entering the Photo
   2. Email Address
   3. Mailing Address
   4. Support Animal/Pet’s Name
   5. Information about the Support Animal/Pet: how they support someone, and if the animal has an official designation
   6. Support Animal/Pet Owner’s First Name
   7. Name of Business (not a required field): If your photo entry is of an animal on site at your business/organization that provides support to your customers or team members.
10. Businesses with Support Animals: If you are a business with an animal on site that provides support to your customers or team members, if your animal is selected as a winner, we will include your company’s logo (as space permits) alongside your animal’s name and story/bio on our calendar.

Votes:

1. All votes are considered donations to The Arc Lancaster Lebanon to support their work to empower people with Intellectual Disabilities and are not refundable.
2. Minimum donation of $5.00 (5 votes).
3. You may vote for any animal as many times as you want.
4. There is no exchange or guarantee of a win for a vote.
5. If you need to purchase votes by sending a check instead of submitting payment online, please call our office at 717-394-5251.
6. New Member Special: If you become a member of The Arc during the month of October, you will receive 10 extra votes to use towards the photo(s) of your choice!

Winners:

1. Voting will close automatically on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 8:00 P.M.
2. Winners will be determined by the photo with the most votes. In the event of a tie, the name of each person with the highest votes will be placed in a "tie-breaker" box and a single name will be randomly selected.
3. The winners of each category will be announced on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 through email from The Arc. You can also check the leaderboards to see how well your pet is doing.
4. Prizes:
   1. Grand Prize Winner: You will receive a $50 gift card, a free calendar, and your support animal’s photo will be on the calendar cover, as well as on the month of your choice.
   2. Next 11 Winners: Your support animal’s photo will be included on your choice of month, given in order of the number of votes (after the Grand Prize Winner selects their month).
   3. Pop-Up Promo Days: The entrant with the most votes received on each specially announced day will receive a $25 gift card.
