Animals need us to care for them, but they do just as much to take care of us! Our 2022 Calendar will showcase all those furry beasts in our lives who offer love, support, friendship, laughter, and more! And while Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals certainly fit the bill, we are also looking for any animal you have that relieves stress, brings comfort, and is there for you. Does your cat catch mice around the house? Does your dog greet you with kisses when you walk in the door? How about that rabbit that lets you pet her for hours? They all help out! We’d love to hear all the ways your animal supports you! (However, please do not share any personal information, such as disabilities.)

To Enter a Photo:
The entry fee is a $5.00 donation for each photo entered. You may make an additional donation during the entry process with each $1 counting as 1 vote. If you choose to donate at least $20, you will receive a bonus offer of 10 votes (this will only apply when you are submitting an entry.) See Rules for details.

Any animal is allowed; however, only animals are allowed in the photos, no people. Multiple animals may be in a photo. If the animal does have a harness or other tool used for support, feel free to have that in the photo. Photo entries must be submitted online; we are unable to accept mailed photos.

Businesses with Support Animals: If you are a business/organization with an animal on site that provides support to your customers or team members, and if your animal is selected as a winner, we will include your company’s logo (as space permits) alongside your animal’s name and story/bio on our calendar.

To Vote for a Photo:
Votes (donations) are $1/vote with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes). Proceeds will directly support people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families through our Programs (see About Us).

New Member Special: If you become a member of The Arc during the month of October, you will receive 10 extra votes to use towards the photo(s) of your choice! 

1. Grand Prize Winner: You will receive a $50 gift card, a free calendar, and your support animal’s photo will be on the calendar cover, as well as on the month of your choice.

2. Next 11 Winners: Your support animal’s photo will be included on your choice of month, given in order of the number of votes (after the Grand Prize Winner selects their month).

3. Pop-Up Promo Days: The entrant with the most votes received on each specially announced day will receive a $25 gift card.
