Pet personality / Story of adoption / Why is your pet special?Marvel is a rescue story.
Near death left on the side of the road several holiday seasons ago. Our mom heard a faint whimper on the side of the road. Marvel was no larger than the palm of your hand. When we got him home he was so weak he could not eat or drink on his own. We fed him for two weeks with a dropper. In time, he gained strength, opened his eyes, and put on weight. Two years later he grew up to be quite large, strong and fast, and was an important part of our family entertaining us for hours.
We called him Marvel because it was on the one hand a marvelous miracle he was saved from death. On the other hand he came to us during the height of the Marvel movies and he seemed at times like a super hero. He truly was "a Marvel."
