We submitted this photo knowing the annual pet photo contest is a "pets only" calendar with cat and dog images.

But because we're dedicating the 2018 calendar in our Aunt Cyndi Lou's memory, we wanted to include a photo of her holding one of our furry loved ones which were so very special in her life. Here she is holding her dog Sophie.

Sophie is a typical Lhasa Apso: Playful, Devoted, Obedient, Lively, Fearless, Intelligent, Assertive, Friendly, Energetic, Spirited, Alert, and Steady

Sophie has boundless energy but also loves being a lap dog and "loved on" during movies, TV time, and family social time. She is always upbeat and involved in every sleepover activity and home holiday event.

This photo is one of our favorites of Sophie and our Aunt Cyndi Lou Dixon who passed away this past March, 2017. .

Our Aunt Cyndi was an amazing human being and we will never forget her. She was a loving and caring Aunt, a friend to so many others, enjoyed socializing and hosting family gatherings, was a great mother to her two boys Chad and Mathew, and a tireless loving and giving grandmother to her grandchildren, and nieces.
