For years, both Lionel and Jackson welcomed every guest who visited the McCook animal shelter at 100 South Street .

We will never forget this dynamic duo, okay, the mello duo. They were such good friends, wonderful, well behaved volunteers who helped the homeless and abandoned animals in southwest, Nebraska.

This photo of Lionel and Jackson earned top voting cover cat honors for the McCook Humane Society 2012-13 calendar.

Every former calendar cover photo is automatically entered in the next years calendar contest for being such a giant supporter of our southwest, Nebraska animal shelter mission and being in the "Hall of Fame Winners Circle."

Thank you for remembering both Lionel and Jackson who will always be award winning calendar cover cat models in our hearts.
