Animal BreedPlott Hound
I was adopted or rescued!A little about me...The Plott Hound is the state dog of North Carolina where we are from. When we adopted Dapper as a puppy from a family member he was very shy and timid. And the Plott Hound breed is known for their powerful, streamlined body, intelligence, loyalty, eager-to-please and high energy nature. Originally bred from German blood hounds created to track bear and wild boar made this dog breed fearless and very protective. Dapper posses all of those magical characteristics.
Plotts are known to do well in homes with multiple dogs and even multiple pets if introduced at a young age because they are a pack dog who enjoy the comforts and companionship that comes from living in a pack. Dapper is protective of me, my kids and his food dish. And he is also affectionate and friendly with everyone he meets. And that fits our home and that fits our Dapper.
