Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?

She’s also known as Jumpadu and Barkasauras, but Raine is this sweet dog’s official name. Why so many nicknames? Well, she jumps when she’s excited or hungry, with her back paws on the floor and the front ones waving in the air, earning her the moniker Jumpadu. And Barkasauras is used when Raine wants attention. From her special spot in the den, she watches her family, and when she’s ready to be included, she barks. To be precise, she’s barking specifically for belly rubs as she wiggles on the floor. Her antics don’t end there. She walks in circles when she needs to go out, and lets out a low growl/sigh when she is perfectly content in the company of her whole family. No matter what she does, however, her silliness always elicits a few giggles from her mom Risa.

Raine isn’t just entertaining and an accidental comedian. She‘s also a calming influence on Risa, who suffers from headaches and anxiety due to Post-Concussion Syndrome. As an emotional support animal, Raine is Risa’s medicine on those tough days, and is forever patient, loving and faithful. Not to mention exceedingly cute. She brings smiles to neighbors’ and strangers’ faces when they are out and about.

About seven years old and pure Shih Tzu, Raine is both a caretaker and an entertainer. Most dogs are one or the other, but this sweetheart of a dog manages to be both for her appreciative mother. Whoever said, “Don’t rain on my parade” got it wrong. Everybody needs a little Raine in their life every day.
