Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?
BRUCE GALLO ROSENBERG
Morrisville, Pennsylvania

After our last dog passed away, my husband and I didn’t plan on bringing another canine companion into our home. We were sure that our furry feline friends and adorable granddog would be enough. I still perused rescue sites, just to look mind you, and had absolutely no designs on adopting. Then came the day that I saw a picture of a 10-week-old puppy and was captivated by his soulful eyes.
Long story short, I convinced my husband that we needed this little guy and toot sweet, Mr. Bruce Gallo Rosenberg was on his way to us from Kentucky. We were told that Bruce’s mother was a Basset, and we had a doggy DNA test done to confirm. Turns out that our boy is the epitome of a mixed breed: Doberman, Boxer, and Chow Chow just to name a few. But if you ask me, Bruce’s true breed is Canine Comedian.
Now 9 months old, Bruce has been honing his craft each day he’s been with us. He positively BURSTS on the scene ala Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld, brimming with boundless enthusiasm and good humor. If that doesn’t garner enough attention, Bruce will run, throw himself on the ground and grin up at you, daring you not to laugh.
Being a Bruce of all trades, he incorporates stunt work and plyometrics into his skits. He is often observed practicing vertical leaps and applying his gains by box jumping onto our counters. When running down our stairs, Bruce will skip a few here and there, land in a heap and instantly leap to his feet as if that had been his intention all along.
While I truly admire Bruce’s athleticism and comedic timing, what I love about him the most is his kind and caring heart. Our dear boy loves all dogs and persists in interacting even after being ignored by crotchety seniors or more timid pups. Bruce also loves all humans and squishes himself through partially opened doors just to be closer to you a millisecond sooner. We couldn’t be happier that Bruce is in our lives and love him to pieces.
