Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?
BRUCE CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAYS

Bruce, one of the office cats at The Crossings Animal Society, likes to burrow himself in small spaces. In this case, he also apparently thought he was part of the holiday decorations.

While our wreath was lying inside on the carpet, just prior to being hung on the front door, Bruce thought he would be the perfect centerpiece. So while we weren't looking, Bruce crawled under the wreath and stuck his head through the center!

It's antics like these that have brought smiles to so many faces during this difficult time.

CAS shares office space with my psychology practice, The Center for Psychology. Given run of the place, Bruce sometimes lounges upstairs with CAS staff and volunteers, as well as fellow resident cat, Gracie. However, he often chooses to "sit in" on my therapy sessions. Sometimes he climbs up on the lap of a client and purrs loudly. Sometimes he sits a few feet away and stares directly at her or him-- which would be disconcerting if it weren't so funny.

Coming to us as a surrender, Bruce has brought a unique presence to the office. He is 20 pounds of warm and affectionate, mischievous and funny. He loves people, looking out the window for long periods of time, and the benefit of a good nap. And he clearly adores being the center of attention.

Bruce is truly "Rescued and Hilarious".

It is a blessing to have Bruce here in the office.
