Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?

When my partner and I decided to find a sister for our 7 year-old Chihuahua Arlo, we knew we wanted to adopt a bully breed from a rescue. Enter Sophie, a 3-year-old French Bulldog/Pit bull mix from Three Pitties Rescue in Texas.
Sophie’s Pit bull heritage is apparent only in the enormous size of her tongue, which she uses to steal my dinner whenever my head is turned. She’ll race away, somehow running with all four feet in the air at once.
Her other hobbies include chewing our IPhone cords and remotes instead of her numerous chew toys, and diving into puddles at the dog park. From that behavior, you might think Sophie loves water, but she refuses to go outside in the rain and jumps over grass that is even slightly wet.
I’ll often awake with Sophie standing on my head, but I wouldn’t change a thing about her. Our lives revolve around our sweet dogs.
