Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?
I picked up Gracie (literally) a few years ago at a cat colony behind my local library. She had been living in a parking lot for several weeks. I had seen her posted on social media by some local townies who had been caring for her. Attempts were made to find her owners- but nothing came of it. I brought her home with the intention of sending her to a foster, but it's now 4 years later and she is an integral part of the family! Gracie is friendly and sociable. She is a little trooper in spite of living with chronic IBS and having to receive regular B12 injections. Unlike most cats, Gracie stays awake most of the day and LOVES playing in her tunnels. She also enjoys short walks outside (on a leash), but prefers to take her strolls in the evening. Her favorite past time is to sit in her pop tent on the catio and watch the birds at the feeders. When the weather is nice, she will happily hang out in her tent for HOURS. She will take all of her day time meals in her tent too! We find that we have to bring her in occasionally so she remembers to take kitty box breaks, but as soon as she goes she will be meowing at the door to go right back to her tent. Although gentle, she is no push-over and keeps her "brother" Bear in line!
