Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Hilarious?
It seems that all my cats came to me in peculiar ways. (Entry #33, Bingo, is another of my cats who was found at a Bingo parlor.) I never really searched them out. A man came to my house 9 years ago, saying that he heard I rescued animals--officially, I don't. He said he needed to find a home for Lexus since his home was in the process of foreclosure. Strange thing was, he was living in his car, keeping his two male cats in the car with him & was letting Lexus, an unspayed female at the time, to live outside! Luckily, she was not pregnant when I rescued her.
Lexi, who is now 16 years old, always seems to find cute places to hang out. Many times, she spends her playing time running back and forth thru the nylon tunnel because of the crinkling sound it makes. I think the picture shows a time when she stopped to rest from playing in the tube. Lexi brings me lots of joy since she loves laying anywhere I am--on my chest, on my legs, or up against my side. Lexi is truly a velcro cat. She does let my other cats have some close time with me, but they seem to know that she should get the most--after all, Lexi is my senior cat!!! What's really special about Lexi is that this lovebug was totally the opposite when she moved in as a 7-year-old!!!
