Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Notorious"?
Rosie came into Trenton Animal Shelter (TAS) as a cruelty case at just 6 months old. After her arrival, she spent almost 2 weeks at the veterinary hospital recovering from her injuries from physical abuse.

Being a volunteer at TAS, I knew she would need a foster, so I happily offered.
The minute I went to the vet to pick her up, I knew I would be a “foster fail”.

Living with me, I noticed her personality lights up every corner of every room. Considering her prior life, you would never know the cruelty she went through.

Rosie has become my Best Buddy and goes as many places with me as I can take- for example, Asbury Park, NJ; New Hope, PA; and even Big Lots! She has come so far from the abused puppy I first met.

Rosie has a large personality with a spunky attitude who loves to play with her dog and cat siblings. In fact, she’s most notorious for riling up the cats and causing a scene. She makes such a scene, that the cats run from her.

She brings me joy and laughter every day. I will always protect her and do my best to help her forget the life she had before we met.
