Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Notorious"?
We had two dogs named Hank and Chester, who were best friends. When we had to put Chester down, Hank mourned him by walking around howling.

We knew we needed to get Hank a new buddy. Sophie became part of our family soon thereafter. When she came in, she filled that emptiness Hank felt. We also had a blind puppy and Sophie would get her to play and always treated her so gently.

Sophie is a gentle-hearted soul. She is very sweet and gentle with everyone she meets. This includes all of her two-legged friends (especially babies) and four legged friends. She greets everyone at the door with a wagging tail and a happy, upbeat walk.

Sophie is notorious for her babysitting skills. We were asked to be Godparents to a beautiful little girl named Emily. Sophie was always so motherly to her. When Emily was an infant, Sophie would gently roll into her when she was lying on the floor. When Emily would cry, Sophie would run around to get our attention. It was if she was telling us the baby needed something! Emily and Sophie have been best friends for 8 years.

Sophie is a wonderful dog with a gentle heart and she is very special to us. We love having her a part of our family and we love having her be a part of Emily’s life.
