Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Notorious"?
Maggie was rescued by a wonderful woman from New Jersey Aid for Animals, who was contacted about a dog that was let out purposefully from a home that no longer wanted Maggie.

Maggie was scared and running away from everyone trying to help her. She was finally caught and then sent to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center for rehabilitation to hopefully one day be adopted. It took several months at the shelter for Maggie to finally feel safe; four months later, she was put up for adoption.

I adopted her and brought her home, while being told she wouldn’t be a dog that would cuddle or be overly affectionate. Ten years later, she is cuddling by my side every day and kisses are a part of daily life. She has been transformed into the biggest sweetheart that wants to be by your side when she’s not playing with her little puppy sister!

Maggie, who is notorious for beating the odds and exceeding all expectations for the dog she would become, today is a big goofy girl who steals the blanket off your lap to make it into her own bed. She is living her best, happiest rescued dog life.
