Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Extraordinary"?
Muffin was rescued from the Chinese meat market in 2022, after spending the first two years of her life living in a cage in a backyard. She subsisted on rice and veggies, and had even had puppies prior to her rescue. Despite her rough start, she has flourished as part of our family. She has grown into a loving, trusting, and wonderful companion. She doesn't shy away from new adventures, even going as far as to climbing a mountain in Acadia National Park. She has every reason not to trust people, let alone love them. Her ability to overcome her trauma and learn how to be a dog again makes her extraordinary. She is friendly to people and dogs alike, and always takes the opportunity to say hello when she meets someone new. Muffin teaches us every day that it doesn't matter where you come from - adapting to change, learning new things, and having a good attitude make all the difference.
