Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Extraordinary"?
Our beloved dog Taz, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge, was adopted when he was just around 10 years old. He was completely one-of-a-kind and we miss him every day.

Adopted as a senior, all 15 pounds of Taz proved that it's never too late to find love, start a new adventure, or steal hearts. Originally from Texas, he had been fostered in Pennsylvania after his mom passed away, and the moment my husband saw his picture online, it was love at first sight. That was the start of our story together, which lasted over eight remarkable, unforgettable years.

Taz was a fearless protector, our home's resident comedian, and an escape artist who could give Houdini a run for his money. He never hesitated to share his opinions and sometimes even seemed convinced that he was part cat. He had impeccable table manners, served as our “hot water bottle” on chilly nights, and loved shopping (just try telling him you couldn't stop into the CVS during an outing).

Taz was also the best co-worker and up for a commute —although he often slept on the job after clocking in. He stretched like a little yogi, thought dog toys were “beneath him," and would joyfully spin in circles when it was time for his “big bone." He loved burrowing in pillows and his sweet little snores were music to our ears. Taz made every ordinary moment memorable simply by being himself.

He loved us fiercely, and we loved him just the same.

Taz was a little dog with a huge heart who made every day brighter. He taught us the power of unconditional love and loyalty, and he embraced every moment with gratitude. We hope he reminds you to do the same.
