Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Extraordinary"?
Our beloved dog Taz, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge, was adopted when he was approx. 10 years old. We wanted to adopt a senior as they are often overlooked. Taz was originally from TX and was being fostered by a wonderful woman and rescue in PA after his Mom passed away. My husband saw his picture online, immediately fell in love with him, and that was the start of our story over 8 years ago.

Taz was truly one of a kind. He was a fearless protector (all 15 lbs. of him), our little comedian, and an escape artist who could give Houdini a run for his money. He never hesitated to share his opinions and sometimes seemed convinced he was part cat. Taz had impeccable table manners, served as our “hot water bottle” on chilly nights, and loved shopping (you could not walk past a CVS without going in). He was the best co-worker (although he often slept on the job), stretched like a little yogi, thought dog toys were “beneath him”, and would joyfully spin in circles when it was time for his “big bone” (he apparently wore a watch to remind us). Taz loved burrowing in pillows, and his little snores were my favorite sound to hear. But most importantly, he loved us fiercely, and we loved him just the same.

Taz was a little dog with a huge heart who made every day brighter. He taught us the power of unconditional love and loyalty, and he embraced every moment with gratitude and love. He reminds us that it is never too late to find love and be loved in return.
