This fundraiser is open to any animal — they do not have to be an alum of Lucky Puppy. Eligible pets include dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and small critters. No farm animals or exotic pets are eligible for entry. Your entry can feature a past (deceased) or present pet, as long as you have a quality photo that captures their personality and cuteness.
A quick note for multiple pet parents:
If you’d like to submit more than one pet, please enter them as separate entries.
Or, if you’d rather not have your pets “competing” against each other, consider entering one this year and saving the other for next year’s contest! 🐶🐱
You must be 18+ years of age to participate in Best in Hops. This includes both submitting an entry and fundraising.
Participants must be residents of the United States. Voters from outside the U.S. are welcome and eligible.
The contest opens at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Voting closes at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, November 30, 2025. All fundraising/voting must occur within these dates.
Winners will be announced at the Best in Hops Celebration on December 7, 2025 at Frog Alley Brewing in Schenectady, NY. Winners do not need to be present at the celebration and will also be notified directly by Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue.
Frog Alley Brewing distributes their beers primarily throughout the Capital Region of New York, including Albany, Schenectady, Troy, and Saratoga Springs, with availability at select local bars, restaurants, and retailers. While winners will have their pets featured on a Frog Alley beer label, they may not live within the immediate distribution region of the beer. Each contest winner will receive a 4-pack of the beer featuring their identified pet. Please note: shipping of alcoholic beverages is subject to state and federal regulations. Depending on your location, shipping may be restricted or unavailable, and Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue and Frog Alley Brewing cannot guarantee delivery outside permitted areas. Winners residing outside the distribution or shipping area will still have their pet featured on the label, but the physical beer may need to be picked up locally or will be provided within legal shipping limits.
Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated. Promotions where bonus votes can be awarded will be announced on the GoGo Photo Contest fundraising website.
Winners will be determined based on the number of votes raised by their entry. All donations must be made online and directly to your entry to be counted towards your total. All donations to the photo contest are final. To join the contest, you must create an entry on the fundraiser website.
If there is a tie for second place, those contestants will be entered into a random draw. The winner of the draw will be featured on the limited-edition label.
Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal or persons in a photo. Donations collected will be refunded if requested by the donors.
All winners must provide a selection of 3–4 photos of their pet within the specified timeframe after the fundraiser ends. Photos must meet the image requirements outlined below. If appropriate photos are not provided by the deadline, Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue will offer the winning place to the next eligible contestant.
By agreeing to the waiver when you enter the fundraiser, you acknowledge and give permission to Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue, Frog Alley Brewing and additional sponsors to use the name, story, and photo of the animal entered in future publications, promotions, and materials.

Lucky Puppy Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in the rehabilitation and rehoming of rescue dogs. We work tirelessly to improve the lives of these animals, and are committed to finding them all loving homes. Our team provides veterinary care, behavioral training, and socialization so that each dog is ready for a forever home when they leave our facility. With your help, we can change the luck of rescue dogs everywhere! Each new dog is welcomed and cared for in clean, and secure kennel areas before being introduced to the others in our care. We believe that each dog deserves plenty of love, attention, and exercise, which is why we make sure every dog gets plenty of time outdoors each day. Our goal is to find loving homes for all of our dogs, and we believe that by providing them with a healthy environment and plenty of exercise, we are giving them the best chance at finding their forever home.
In 2008 co-founders Teri and Becky started Lucky Puppy Rescue and have since saved thousands of neglected, abandoned, and abused dogs in the Florida panhandle. At the 125 acre farm in Bonifay, Florida, they are fed, vetted, cleaned, socialized, fixed, and cared for until they are ready for adoption. Adoptable pups make the 24 hour bus trip to New York where they will seek their forever families. It is a 2,600 mile round trip, and costs roughly
$2,700 each trip. The transport is done 2-3 times per month. At our Great Beginnings Adoption Center in Argyle, NY the pups run, play, learn and grow. We gather and accept applications to find matches for their forever families. Since opening in 2019, we have placed over 2000 dogs in safe, loving homes. At Lucky Puppy Rescue, we are dedicated to transforming the fate of rescue dogs, giving them the second chance they deserve. Our mission is to collaborate with the community, shelters, and rescue groups to restore each dog’s health, rebuild their trust, and shape their behavior. Through expert care, pack integration, and tailored training, we nurture their physical, emotional, and social needs—preparing them to become the loyal, loving companion your family has been waiting for.
