A big thank you to last year's participants for helping us raise over $2400 in our 2018 holiday photo contest!
Those funds allowed us to save animals in desperate situations, some with severe medical and emotional needs. We could not have stepped up for them without your generosity and compassion.
This years Holiday Photo Contest is dedicated to our beloved rescue founder & President, Ann Crumb who we devastatingly lost on October 31st 2019. Ann was a once in a lifetime, beautiful spirit whose boundless compassion and love for animals inspired her to form The Rescue Express over 10 years ago. It was Ann's last wish for us to continue the important work that we started together so we are asking for your support in Ann's memory.
We are hoping to get much closer to our goal of $5000 so please help us save even more precious souls who have been abandoned and neglected. Help us be a Voice for the Voiceless.
Our Photo Contest Holiday Fundraiser is a meaningful yet fun way to celebrate your beloved pet while simultaneously helping us save shelter animals who are eagerly waiting for a home of their own.
So in the spirit of the Holiday season, the spirit of giving and in Ann Crumb's memory please help us give the gift of life.
Your furry BFF and his or her ‘fans' will help The Rescue Express save forgotten and often neglected dogs and cats in high-risk shelters. What better way is there to express the love we have for our pets and the impact they have made in our lives. Paw it forward!
The Rescue Express is a non-profit animal rescue located in the Philadelphia/Media area. To date we have saved over 2,500 dogs many with serious medical issues that required thousands of dollars in extensive vetting and rehabilitation. We are a small rescue with a handful of tireless and dedicated volunteers and have been featured on Channel 6 ABC's Rescue Me segment several times. We are also a PetSmart charity partner.
It might not seem like $5 will go very far but every photo entry/vote donation allows The Rescue Express to save more precious souls who have run out of time and options.
So please encourage your friends and family to vote for your best friend's photo and you could win one of our fantastic prizes. Plus the more votes you get the more the shelter animals win!
